About Me
- Gitanjali Sukumar
- Known to my friends as G or Gigi, I am an artist and an animal lover. Graduating with my BFA at the College of Fine Arts, UNSW this year, i'm here to share my love affair with my paints and brushes. My work stems from what nature has to offer, the majority of my works displaying natural themes or colours influenced by the natural world. I use watercolour, oil and acrylic paints in my works, but also worked with jewellery and sculpture. Most of my works reflect the traditions and culture of my Indian background through the variety of colours, patterns and designs I use. My art represents my life- colours, emotions and all. Language is the basis of communication. Art is my language.
